Unbelievably Unique Party: Huron Substation Photographer

Some wedding celebrations follow tradition. Others create an entirely new experience.

As a Huron Substation Photographer, our team recently captured an unforgettable celebration for Janae and Josh. The couple had already officially tied the knot. However, they still wanted to throw an all-out party with their closest friends and family.

The result was joyful, unconventional, stylish, and completely personal.

A Celebration Without the Usual Rules

Janae and Josh arrived styled to perfection. Naturally, their guests understood the assignment too.

The dress code invited everyone to wear something from their closet that they never normally get to wear. Guests fully embraced the theme. The outfits ranged from elaborate costumes to bold vintage pieces. One guest even arrived in an upcycled 1980s wedding dress.

Every look added personality to the event. More importantly, everyone felt free to celebrate in their own unique way.

Huron Substation provided the perfect backdrop for the party. The historic Los Angeles venue offered plenty of character while giving the couple room to make the celebration their own.

Polaroids, Tacos, and Churros

The evening featured thoughtful details that encouraged guests to relax and have fun. A Polaroid station allowed friends and family to capture candid memories throughout the night.

Meanwhile, a taco truck served dinner to the crowd. Later, everyone enjoyed the undeniable highlight of the evening: fresh churros.

After dinner, Janae and Josh shared a short and heartfelt speech. Their words reflected the love and appreciation they feel for the people in their lives.

Then, the dance floor opened.

Guests immediately cut loose in honor of the couple. The room filled with music, laughter, and nonstop movement. It was impossible not to feel the energy.

A Community Built on Kindness

One of the most meaningful parts of the celebration was the incredible diversity of the guest list. Friends and family traveled from near and far. They represented many different backgrounds, identities, cultures, and beliefs.
