This gorgeous and intimate Indian wedding was so special to photograph. The bride and groom married at the Grass Room DTLA . This stunning wedding venue is a horticultural greenhouse-inspired space in the middle of Downtown Los Angeles. It was the perfect venue for this couple. They chose to invite their closest friends and family members to celebrate their wedding.
I love when couples choose to make their ceremony unique! This bride and groom opted for a nontraditional ceremony. The bride’s closest friend officiated, and other close family members gave speeches throughout the ceremony. Lastly, a friend closed by leading a guided meditation. The ceremony perfectly matched the bride and groom’s personalities. It was intimate, emotional, and grounding. What a perfect way to enter the next chapter of your life together!
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed delicious Indian food. Family members and close friends of the bride and groom gave emotional speeches to celebrate their marriage. It was so special to celebrate a more intimate Indian wedding with a group of people really knew the bride and groom! There was a lot of laughter and a lot of tears. It’s special to have a close-knit community of loved ones who can all share and understand sentiments about the couple.
Once toasts and dinner finished it was time to party! Finally! The groom surprised everyone including the bride with a choreographed dance with his groomsmen. I was shocked by how good of a dancer he was! Everyone cheered and it was an incredible surprise. Afterwards, he welcomed all his guests to the dance floor. Even the grandmas got in on some old school hip hop! It was so much fun to see guests of all ages dancing together and enjoying the night. Above all, this couple planned an intimate Indian wedding that everyone could enjoy!
