\For those of you not familiar with Los Angeles, the neighborhood of West Hollywood has a reputation for boasting some of the swankiest, coolest “LA” experiences. One very popular destination is the Andaz West Hollywood. Among many attractions, the luxurious hotel features a spa, rooftop pool overlooking the city, and many events.
Naturally, the Andaz was the first choice when Visit West Hollywood Travel + Tourism Board hosted their media event this month! 50 journalists and media personnel traveled internationally to– you guessed it– visit West Hollywood. After a full weekend of events, they wound down by relaxing at the Andaz. What better what to wrap up a weekend?
There was food and beverage, cocktails in cabanas, and lots of laughter. Guests mingled while relaxing on pool deck daybeds. And best of all– a luxury spa experience!
Ok, yes. There was a moment of drama when some car keys got dropped in the pool. What’s a day of drinking poolside without a little commotion?
What is LA known for if not for its silver screen? In true Hollywood style, the academy of motion pictures rolled out the red carpet (literally) for guests. Attendees took photos in front of a larger-than-life Oscars statue. Can ANYONE tell me why it’s a nude man holding a sword? What on earth does that have to do with motion pictures?
Ok, pause. I just googled it. Apparently, the symbol represents “a crusader of the industry.” I think this is a bit of a stretch. Message me if you have a better understanding and feel this works. Maybe I’m just not “in the know.”
This was the coolest part of the event. Visit West Hollywood and the Andaz offered guests a luxury massage experience, complete with Ole Henriksen products. I feel relaxed just looking at the photos. Ahhh. I can only imagine how good this felt after international flights and walking around LA!
Are you planning to capture some Andaz West Hollywood Photography? Let’s chat. You can shoot me a direct message at hello@dariataylor.com and we can make sure to really woo your guests with the full WeHo (that’s LA’s nickname for West Hollywood, IYKYK) experience.
And yes, I accept payments in massage gift certificates.
