Supporting Altadena Event Professionals Affected by the Eaton Fires

As part of the fête Los Angeles event group, I had the honor of capturing a fundraising photoshoot and video shoot for four incredible event professionals who lost their homes and businesses in the devastating Eaton wildfires in Los Angeles. These individuals have dedicated their careers to creating unforgettable experiences for others, and now they need our support to rebuild. Below are their stories and links to their GoFundMe pages.

Suzanne – Owner of Cirque Berserk

Suzanne lost both her home and studio in the Eaton fires. A talented designer and performer, she curated bespoke costume pieces sourced from collectors worldwide—each one a reflection of her artistry. Tragically, all of these irreplaceable pieces were lost. After hours of sifting through the ash, she was able to recover her grandmother’s wedding ring, a small but meaningful piece of her family’s history. Unfortunately, her own ring was lost in the fire. To help Suzanne rebuild, please consider donating HERE.

Renata – Owner of ORLA Floral Studio

Renata worked tirelessly to create a life where her home and business existed side by side. Her floral studio, located just steps from her front door, was a peaceful haven where she and her team designed beautiful arrangements for clients. Now, melted vases are fused to the concrete where rows of neatly stored inventory once stood. When we arrived at the site, Army Corps staff in hazmat gear were assessing the damage, a stark reminder of the devastation left behind. To support Renata’s recovery, please donate HERE.

Bonnie – Owner of Bon Bon Fête Event Planning

Bonnie, a mother of three young children, lost her home and newly renovated home office in the fires. With little time to evacuate, she and her husband gathered their five-year-old daughter, 3.5-year-old son, and eight-month-old infant and fled. Helping her children process their loss has been especially heartbreaking. In the ash, we spotted her son’s ride-on toy fire truck, a painful reminder of what was left behind. Bonnie hopes that in time, he will forgive the firefighters for not being able to save it. If you would like to support Bonnie and her family, you can donate HERE.

Samera – Owner of 409 Woodbury

A multi-generational Altadena resident, Samera built her event venue, 409 Woodbury, as a place for her community to gather. She often opened her doors at no cost to local schools and community groups, making it a true hub for connection. The fires took not only her venue but also the home she grew up in and the home where she raised her own family. The loss is immeasurable, but the community she has long supported now has the chance to give back. Please consider donating to Samera’s GoFundMe HERE.

Every Donation Makes a Difference

These four professionals have given so much to their community, creating joy through their work. Now, they need help to rebuild their homes, businesses, and lives. If you’re able, please consider donating to their GoFundMe campaigns in support of all they lost in the Eaton Wildfires in Los Angeles.

Their resilience is inspiring, but they shouldn’t have to face this journey alone. Let’s come together and support them in any way we can.
