A Hero Honored: Veteran Event Photography LA with JP Morgan Chase x Subaru

Capturing this veteran event photography LA gave me a front-row seat to something unforgettable. I had the privilege of capturing an emotional and inspiring event on behalf of JP Morgan Chase. In partnership with the Mission Warriors Support Foundation and Subaru, this day was all about celebrating a true American hero—Glenn.

Glenn is a Vietnam veteran and a Purple Heart recipient. But beyond his military service, he has spent decades giving back. He delivered groceries to struggling neighbors. He showed up when no one else did. His kindness built a wide circle of friends—some from his time in Vietnam, others from everyday life.

A Community Comes Together

The crowd reflected the many lives Glenn has touched. Old war buddies stood beside new neighbors. Longtime friends embraced people who only recently met him. Everyone came for one reason: to honor Glenn.

Then came the highlight of the event. Subaru gifted Glenn a brand-new Subaru Outback—with free unlimited oil changes for life. As he accepted the keys, Glenn took a deep breath and gave a heartfelt thank-you speech. His voice shook with emotion. Nearly everyone in the crowd wiped away tears.

A Well-Deserved Moment

After the speech, family and friends surrounded Glenn. Hugs, high-fives, and handshakes followed. He smiled, climbed into his new car, and slowly drove off the lot. The message was clear. Glenn deserved every bit of this.

Why This Event Mattered

This wasn’t just a photo shoot. It was a reminder of why I do what I do. Capturing moments of connection, gratitude, and honor is a privilege. This day, made possible by JP Morgan Chase, Mission Warriors, and Subaru, was one of the most moving assignments I’ve ever had. It truly defines what veteran event photography LA is all about.
