I recently had the opportunity to photograph a private networking event hosted by Discover Los Angeles, the official travel and tourism organization for the City of Los Angeles. As a Los Angeles event photographer, I’m always inspired when I get to be part of experiences that not only bring people together but also move the city forward. This event did both.

Leaders from Discover LA stepped up to the mic to share their plans for the city’s tourism future—especially in light of the wildfires that recently impacted the region. They spoke directly about the challenges and emphasized the importance of local support in rebuilding efforts. The transparency and clarity in their vision resonated with the room.
