Each and every one of my clients has a unique story to tell. It is my privilege to share those stories with you.
What is better than capturing a gorgeous couple in a gorgeous location? Nothing! Leading up to our shoot, I chatted with my couple about what they were hoping to capture. They mentioned wantign colorful engagement session photos, and I knew exactly where I wanted to take them! We headed to the Los Angeles County Arboretum , which I LOVE for all of the variety it offers! The gorgeous landscape changes depending on the time of year it is, but it’s always absolutely stunning. Such are the perks of living in Los Angeles, am I right?
My couple also wanted to feature their traditional formal Indian outfits for the session. The bride is Indian and the groom is Mexican, so their upcoming wedding is a beautiful combination of cultures. I couldn’t be more excited for it! The soon-to-be bride had really beautiful gold outfit with beaded overlay details, so I loved that the hues in the blossoming tree and speckles of light complimented her outfit. Our session took place just before sunset, so the light filtered softly through the trees. Scroll to the last photo to see how the background just lit up behind them to capture their colorful engagement session photos !
I love capturing my couples’ engagement sessions before the wedding. It always gives me a good opportunity to connect with them more and to really get to know what their unique love looks like! I love how natural this couple related to each other, and how easily they made each other laugh. Though their personalities are different, they’re perfect for each other. Opposites really do attract!

This wedding was so special to photograph. A wheelchair accessible wedding venue can be difficult to find. It’s so important to me that all couples have the opportunity to marry at their dream venue. The Griffith House is such a romantic and private wedding venue. It was perfect for this couple’s intimate and low-key wedding!
The venue features a lot of lush greenery and beautiful flowers. Both bride and groom got ready in separate parts of the Spanish-style house. Afterwards, they married outdoors on the private lawn. Friends and family dabbed away tears as the bride and groom exchanged beautiful vows. The officiant closed the lovely ceremony by leading everyone in prayer.
This wedding was especially intimate because all guests in attendance were close friends and family of the bride and groom. After the ceremony, everyone was ready to celebrate! There was a delicious bbq buffet for everyone to enjoy! One of my favorite details was the ornate paper flower decor on each table. The bride’s mother painstakingly made each paper floral bouquet by hand. They were stunning and a beautiful display of her love for the couple!
Later on After dinner, everyone joined on the lawn to dance! It was so sweet watching guests of all ages dance together. Babies and grandmas from both sides of the wedding party joined to celebrate! It was adorable to watch.
The celebration concluded with a cake cutting and grand exit! Afterwards, the Bride and groom departed for their Caribbean wedding and guests left feeling joyful. It was a beautiful and intimate wedding day. It’s so important that a wheelchair accessible wedding exists to offer beautiful and wide ranging options to couples looking to get married.
